Where is Peace School?
Peace School is not a building; it is a community of learning. The community meets five times during the course of the year programme. For the summer school the community meets at Timberlodge near Ingelton in North Yorkshire, and for the weekend residentials the community meets at the Chellington Centre in Bedfordshire. When is Peace School?
The Peace School programme runs for one calendar year from August through to the end of the following July. The community of learning meets together five times during the year. The dates for 2009/10 are:
Summer school
Friday 31st July - Friday 7th August 2009
Weekends
Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th October 2009
Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th January 2010
Friday 9th - Sunday 11th April 2010
Friday 18th - Sunday 20th June 2010
Participants are invited to continue to be part of the community of learning after the year programme through participation in the web based elements of the programme.
