Where is Peace School?
Peace School is not a building; it is a community of learning. The community meets four times during the course of the year programme. For the summer school the community meets at the Beamsley Centre in North Yorkshire, and for the weekend residentials the community meets at the Chellington Centre in Bedfordshire. When is Peace School?
The Peace School programme runs for one calendar year from August through to the end of the following July. The community of learning meets together five times during the year. The dates for 2008/9 are:
Summer school
Friday 1st - Friday 8th August 2008
Weekends
Friday 17th - Sunday 19th Ocotber 2008
Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th January 2009
Friday 17th - Sunday 19th April 2009
Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June 2009
Participants are invited to continue to be part of the community of learning after the year programme through participation in the web based elements of the programme.
