Reconciliation - Self, Other... the World? – 17th April 2010.
Posted: 19 March, 01:11 by Jon Dorsett
Faced with of the scale of global conflict, the challenge of making an impact for peace can at times seem overwhelming. Whether you’re a seasoned campaigner in need of a boost, or just starting out as a peacemaker and in need of a helping hand, this day run by the Fellowship of Reconciliation will provide opportunities to find inspiration, focus and encouragement by connecting you with other likeminded people, as well as practical skills training to equip you for action.
The Fellowship of Reconciliation is an international, spiritually-based movement of people who, from the basis of a belief in the power of love and truth to create justice and restore community, commit themselves to active nonviolence as a way of life and as a means of personal, social, economic and political transformation.
The training day is for 18 – 30(ish) year olds who are interested in and/or engaged in peace and conflict issues, and is taking place on April 17th 2010, at Carr’s Lane Church Centre, Birmingham.
