Theology and Values
This Exploration Area looks at different theologies and understandings of peacemaking from across different Christian traditions, as well as learning from what other faiths’ perspectives of peace and peacemaking can teach us.
Our systems of beliefs, and the values that we hold dear, provide the foundations for our lives as peacemakers; respect of each others firmly held convictions and honest and open discussion will help us to think through our own positions, worldviews, behaviours and beliefs during the Peace School year.
Part of our explorations into the values of being shalom activists is through the Values Map, a web based resource, tool and growing library of information on shalom values, which participants can use and add to.
